Women In Workforce
Gender does not matter; what matters is what the person has to offer.

Women In STEAM

Our cause is to shed light on the fact that women are capable of doing and creating the same things men do. Women have been neglected since the past and it has just started to get better. However, there are still many ways that they are being treated unfairly: lack of promotions, leadership roles, and harassment in work places being some of the examples.

"Women make up 20% of engineering graduates, but it’s been estimated that nearly 40% of women who earn engineering degrees either quit or never enter the profession."

Susan S. Silbey, Harward Business Review

The leading cause for this is the dominant male culture of the industry.

Just because of their gender, women are not taken seriously. Regardless of their qualifications, they are considered inferior and are prone to sexual harassment and ignorance in their workplaces.

To reduce this underrepresentation of women in the workforce, we need people to treat women as equals, and the women to know that they deserve to be treated as equals.

To do this we need to TAKE ACTION!
